System administrators can configure the product prior to deployment or even after installation. Customization is as simple as identifying the features of the product that will be used and specifying the preferences for them.

What does the deployment kit contain?
The deployment Kit contains information for System administrator and MIS professional, that will enable them to configure the product at install time and to customize the preferences of the Project and File Selectors on the users machines.
How can Network/Unplugged be deployed?
Network/Unplugged can be rolled out using Log in Scripts or any standard deployment applications such as Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Novell Netware ZENworks etc.
Can the product be deployed with minimal user
intervention?
Network/Unplugged allows the administrator to perform a silent install and also the product can be configured for minimal user intervention.
After deployment can changes be made to the
Preferences of the Project and File Selectors and
how can the changes be implemented?
The Preferences and the Projects being deployed can be changed anytime by the administrator. Once the changes are made the administrator has to push down the related deployment settings file to the user's machine and the changes take place when the user logs on and opens the application.
Can the settings and Preferences be locked so that the
user cannot make any modifications?
Network/Unplugged's deployment console allows the administrators to control the Preferences for the Projects and File Selectors. The administrator can choose to set a global lock or individual lock for the preferences. Global lock will lock all the preferences and the user will not have access to any of them. When the preferences are individually locked by the administrator the user can only modify change or edit the unlocked preferences.
