Take your network files to virtual Network

Mobiliti offline files solution to take network with you
Mobile workforce needs to work offline for a significant amount of time. Therefore, having the right information offline is of primary importance. Working offline can be an erratic task since the user needs to answer the following:
  • What do I need to take with me?
  • Where do I store this?
  • Is the network version the latest or is it the local version?

Using Mobiliti's feature for offline network, it automatically provides answers to these questions. This feature can be called with different names : Offline files, Offline folders, Offline network, etc to enable you to work offline. It replicates the structure of the network on to the user's laptop creating a cache of network environment. This means same mapped drives, network names, hierarchies, links, and shortcuts are available to the user in the disconnected state. This dramatically increases user productivity, as their computing environment is the same at all times. At the same time, the product takes the responsibility to keep the offline cache and the network copy consistent with each other.

How to use Virtual Network to view network offline?

Mobiliti enables you to view offline files an folders (when you are not connected to network). For this, you have to first create a Project. The files to be viewed offline should be a part of one of these Projects. Once this Project is Synchronized the files are available even when you are offline. When the network resources are not found, the computers switch states automatically. The files can then be viewed from Network Neighborhood or through the mapped drives.
